Our vision is to help any law enforcement agency seeking assistance to either start a K9 program, or support existing programs with training, equipment resources, and public education about the important role of police K9s in public safety.
A canine has the ability to smell 100,000 times + stronger than a human. A properly trained police dog saves 600 to 1000 man-hours every year. K-9 officers reduce the risk to human officers by alerting to danger long before a human can detect it.

The Space Coast Police K-9 Foundation is committed to supporting police K-9 programs in and around the Space Coast. We do this by helping offset the costs for training, equipment, resources, materials and K9-based public safety focused community outreach.
