This team is a fan favorite and they are returning in 2023 to defend their Top Dog title in the civilian category. This team is from Titusville, Florida. They have been together for 3 years. K9 Kylo is know for his unique reward toy, which is a slipper. he enjoys spending days being his mother’s shadow and taking down bad people who try to harm his family. Kylo has learned the art of puppy dog eyes and uses them on his human brothers to solicit the use of their thumbs to get his favorite treat of frozen blueberries. When he’s not busy protecting his pack, he will be found on the couch cheering for his beloved Boston Red Sox.

This team has been together for 4 1/2-years. They are from Fort Worth, Texas. “I got him since he was 8 weeks old. I didn’t know anything about dogs until I got him and through him I been able to meet great people and trainers. Bruno loves doing bite work and is currently started training in PSA.”

Orlando’s Best K-9

This team is from Winter Park, Florida. They have been together 3 1/2 years. Xe loves to work or play tag with her Malinois brother. She is a Duth Shepherd rescue and has thrived since starting protection work. “Her name when I got her was Xena, I wanted something unique so I came up with Xe pronounced "Z" She was my first evaluation with the rescue and soon became a foster fail. Since becoming a member of my family she has helped train over 20 dogs with the rescue. “ - William Hall

Sasha has a high prey drive and is motivated by a good chase and resulting bite. “The first time I met Sasha I was forced to pick her up in order to get her into my car. This team is from Mims, Florida. Brooke and Kye have been together since Kye was 12-weeks old. Kye is now 4-years-old. Key is extremely high drive and loves obedience training, learning new tricks and bite work. He will do just about anything for a toy. “Chuck its” and frisbees are his favorite. “We rescued Kye when he was a pup & knew nothing about him or his background. He is my first ever working dog and we’ve learned a lot from each other. Last year was our first time here & ever completing a competition, we made it through with no penalties and hope this year to do the same and beat last years time.” - Brooke Kershner

This team is from West Melbourne, Florida. Naomi and Eros have been together 4-years. Eros loves to work! And will do anything for a tug! He can track but article searches are one of his favorites but biting during bite nights is is all time favorite. They compete in sports PSA and K9 Street League

Rafiki is a 2.5 year old German Shepherd. The team has been together for two years. Rafiki loves to hunt lizards and bark at the mail man. The team has been training together for about two years with Ed Reyes K-9. They are starting to train in tracking and detection. Rafiki is a high drive dog who will do anything for a ball or tug. “Training him is a lot of fun and he loves to work!” - Bruce Preeschl

This team has been together for less than one year. Harper is an all black Belgian Malinois. Her grandmother is KNPV certified and her parents are AKC certified. She has been training since she was 8 weeks old. She loves a bite tug, carrots, and peanut butter. She is currently training for obedience, protection, tracking and ordnance detection. “As a puppy, she was very uncontrollable and would bite anyone that handled her. She is now loving, sweet with a mean bullet like bite! She Loves to Fly.” - Rene Rodriquez

This team is from Orlando, Florida and has been together for almost 2-years. K9 Roscoe loves bite work. He uses his tug for obedience training and is just happy to work. “Prior to last year‘s competition I only had this dog that I rescued for eight months. He had behavioral issues, and not a lot of obedience. We come into the competition not knowing how we would do together but we didn’t do bad.
